Japanese screens refinishing
Beautiful wooden Japanese screens have been accidentally damaged during inappropriate cleaning process and required refinishing of the inner areas of each screen. Jade decorations, in green and red, enamel and ivory pieces had to be carefully removed before layers of finishing lacquer were applied.
Porcelain Figurines Repair and Restoration
Beautiful porcelain figurine with extensive damage to the lower part of the dress with multiple missing areas in the lower part as well as one of the sleeves. Areas of repair had to be re-enforced before material and paint could be applied. Difficulty was to match the pattern of the dress close enough, as well as to match the color of the enamel. This cherished heirloom looked beautiful in the end.
Oil Painting Cleaning and Paint Restoration
Beautiful painting changed dramatically after light surface cleaning to remove some dirt. Canvas had some small tears with detached paint. I think it turned out well.
